Fran WilliamsExecutive Director - Environment Health Safety & Quality
Fran Williams has 32 years of experience with environment, safety and health disciplines in the nuclear industry. Other career assignments have included positions of increasing responsibility in such diverse areas as occupational safety and hygiene, radiation protection, production, human resources, public affairs, total quality, programme integration and nuclear material control and accountancy. She was previously Director of the Environment, Safety, Health and Quality Assurance Division (ESH&QA) at the Idaho National Laboratory in Idaho, USA, where her primary responsibilities were to set policy and strategies to maintain compliance with state and federal laws and regulations, as well as Department Of Energy Orders that apply to environment, safety, health, radiological protection and quality assurance. Fran is married with two children and three stepchildren. She is currently living in Whitehaven.
