Tony GreenExecutive Director - Chief Engineer
Tony has been an Engineering Director with AMEC since 1995, initially in oil and gas and, for a number of years now, in the nuclear sector. He was involved in the early Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) partnering work at Sellafield in the late 1990s and also has experience of the Windscale site. Tony's apprenticeship was served with Folland aircraft, building the Red Arrows Gnat before studying Mechanical engineering at St Andrews University. His first job was with BA Engineering & Maintenance at Heathrow and he then moved into engineering contracting, initially in the process industries, before taking up his first role in oil and gas in the 1970s. Tony and his wife now live in Beckermet, but they enjoy visiting her home country of Italy and do a lot of travelling and motorcycling.
