Denis Hugelmann

Denis has a proven track record of managing spent fuel recycling activities for over 20 years. He currently leads La Hague and MELOX recycling site operations with an annual budget of €1.5 billion and over 4,000 personnel. Denis is the executive commercial interface with utilities worldwide in the field of spent fuel recycling. He was formerly in charge of the Treatment Business Unit of AREVA NC. He also led site operations at La Hague and Marcoule nuclear sites, including more than 5,000 people. His strategic vision, effective management and ability to motivate team members have resulted in facilities that consistently deliver outstanding performance. Denis brings valuable MOX fabrication experience to the NMP as a former MELOX plant manager. His contributions were vital in establishing commercial MOX fabrication operations on an industrial scale.
