Todd Wright

Todd has over 27 years experience in Research and Development and nuclear operations. He is the former Laboratory Director of the Savannah River National Laboratory (SRNL) and Senior Vice President for Washington Savannah River Company. Todd became the Laboratory Director of SRNL in 2003. During his tenure, SRNL was designated by the U.S. Department of Energy as a National Laboratory and, in 2006, the Department's Office of Environmental Management named SRNL as its corporate laboratory. Todd is credited with building the laboratory's strategic research efforts in the areas of Environmental Management, Energy Security, and National and Homeland Security, as well as advancing organisational capabilities and performance. In July 2008, Todd was recognised by US DOE Under-secretary, James Rispoli, for providing superior leadership for SRNL. Todd has varied academic training including a PhD in Mechanical Engineering as well as physical chemistry and chemical processing. He is married with three grown children.
