Young Project Manager of the Year to share experience
AN AWARD winning Sellafield project manager is to share his experiences with others in the business community at a free to attend workshop organised by the Association for Project Management (APM) North West Branch.
Neil Crewdson was awarded the APM Young Project Manager of the year award in 2010.
Neil will talk about how he won the APM award, as a result of his work in turning around a programme that was critical to reprocessing at Sellafield.
He will explain at length the methods he used to deliver the project safely in the shortest possible time, whilst moving the project onto a sustainable footing that delivered the business benefits required.
Neil said: “I hope as many people as possible will attend the event. Winning the award last year has been a huge boost to me professionally, and there are many lessons that people can learn about the benefits of joining the APM.”
Also giving a presentation at the event will be Graham Woodward, who will talk about APM Registered Project Professional (RPP) as applications are now being accepted for the new pan-sector standard for project professionals.
The event starts with refreshments from 6pm on Tuesday April 19th, at the University of Central Lancashire’s Westlakes Campus.
Reserve your place now by telephoning 0845 458 1944 or emailing events@apm.org.uk.
