Hydrodemolition of Concrete
Civil Engineers recognise hydrodemolition as the safest, most productive, vibration free method of concrete removal. Jack hammers can leave stress cracks in the remaining substrate whereas water jetting applies no vibration. RGL Gimbal Mounted Lances
Gimbal technology developed by RGL enables operators to work with higher water pressures and larger water volumes by dissipating the re-coil action of the water jet to a gimbal frame. Gimbal mounted lances have a 100% safety record. For increased productivity and improved safety use RGL gimbal technology.
RGL Rotoream
Conventional pipe jetting nozzles and hoses have a limited range when removing blockages, scale, sludge, linings and other materials from inside pipes, drainage systems and outlets. The RGL Rotoream enables a rotating head to travel up to 600m inside pipes, drainage systems and outlets. This clever technology uses the energy from the rotating head to negotiate bends in pipes and tubes. Distances of up to 600m and bends are no problem for the RGL Rotoream!
JETNIFE Abrasive Jet Cutting Technology
RGL has developed very high pressure, water jet cutting systems for pipes, tanks, reactors, gas holders and piles. The hydro- abrasive water stream, travelling at twice the speed of sound, will cut any substance known to man without heat or spark. Use the JETNIFE system to cut out complex shapes thus gaining access for maintenance, repair or inspection.
RGL Surface Preparation
Equipment, personnel and technical support for surface preparation to the latest Hydroblast Standards ISO/NACE, etc. Coating removal can be completed under vacuum so contaminants are contained. Scabbling and laitence removal can be achieved without dust and to a higher standard using RGL limpet technology. RGL technology provides superior bonding properties.
