Environment, Health, Safety & Quality
With expertise in nuclear, conventional, radiological, environmental safety and quality assurance as well as occupational health, our Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality (EHS&Q) team are providing a valuable service to our entire 10,000 strong workforce.
The primary purpose of the EHS&Q Directorate is to support Sellafield Ltd in the delivery of excellence in EHS&Q performance. This is being achieved through the following key activities:
- Establishment, implementation and deployment of simple, effective, policies, standards, procedures and processes that comply with legislation, the site licence, customer expectations and recognised good practice.
- Provision of a credible and independent assurance capability which providing formal reporting on the EHS&Q performance of the business to senior management, and practical advice and assistance to plant operations teams.
- Delivery of a number of efficient, cost effective EHS&Q services to Sellafield Ltd.
